Gossip Girl tells the stories of the students from impossibly wealthy backgrounds, the students who have to act like they belong, the teachers who barely survive, and showcases the nightlife that the rich inhabit in New York City for better or worse.
The series is executive produced by original series co-creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, along with Joshua Safran, who was an executive producer on the first series and who also serves as showrunner.
